Medicare has just announced there changes to Medicare deductibles,copay and premiums for 2012.The changes benefit Medicare Beneficiary’s. Medicare Part B deductible has been lowered from $162 to $140.This increases the value of 2 popular Medicare Supplement Plans,or Medigap Plans G and N,which require the insured to pay the Part B deductible before their coverage kicks in. However there are some increases to the inpatient deductible,Part A,it went from $1132 to $1156.This doesn’t affect either plans,since both pay the Part A deductible.There was minimal increases to Hospital Coinsurance. The standard part B premium will be $99.90,which is a decrease of $15.5 0 from 2011.
