This year the AEP which is also referred to as Open Enrollment ends early. In the past it ran till December 31^st,but starting in 2011 CMS,Center for Medicare Services made the change to December 7^th. All participants in Medicare Part C ,Medicare Advantage Plans or Part D,Medicare Prescription Plans will have the option to change plans up till this date.Anyone that wants to dis enroll from their plan can still do so January 1^st thru February 15^th. This period allows you to dis enroll from Part C or Part D plans and go back to Original Medicare A & B. During this time you can buy a Medicare Supplement or Medigap plan.
